January 2012
Moving to a new blog was simple enough until I started to transfer all these makeup posts.
Having to re-post all these pictures is painful.

I’m not afraid of this movie at all. I don’t know if that means there’s something wrong with me, but…
I can’t even find it in me to be afraid of the real serial killer we have on Long Island. So I definitely can’t be bothered to be afraid of a made up serial killer. :(

I think it’s like…life is so bad in that society that they’ll take any chance to get out of it, even if it means they’re more likely to die than to win? I DUNNO MAN. I haven’t read it in a loooooong time hahaha
I’ll find out soon enough! :)
I’m watching The Poughkeepsie Tapes now. Not scary yet....

The background for it is intentionally left vague, but if I remember correctly it’s just a generic dystopian society. I can’t remember if they’re forced into the walk of if they all just want that badly to be the winner. it should explain I think
It seems like it’s voluntary. But it’s crazy that...
SOMEONE MAKE MY DECISIONS FOR ME.
Watch a movie?
Read? (Holley, I like The Long Walk so far. Even though…Seriously, wtf. I hope they explain why they have these kids enter it and why the penalty is so severe when they’re ticketed. It almost reminds me of The Lottery because you don’t expect it.)
Keep transferring my posts to another website? That’s not going as fast as I...

We need to come up with a website. And we can post all of our escapades on there. And get paid for it.
I wish I could get paid for my sarcasm.

I have. A really bad headache now.
I’m glad we didn’t play video games together when we were still in a relationship because we definitely would have broken up sooner.
And I say that with all the respect in the world because I really do like my ex. Even if he is obnoxious. :)
I have twenty minutes until Ryan gets out of the shower. To figure out how to sync my mic with my PS3. I always forget.
And it’s stupid, but I’m NERVOUS. Because I’ve only watched him play SOCOM (low point in my life), I’ve never played anything with him. And I haven’t talked to him (really talked, not through text) since the last time I saw him six and a half years...

haha! i remember when nintendo was a brand new invention, I don’t remember being able to use the Internet to look up cheats online until like halfway through the life of the snes.
We could have used it back then, too. Some of those old NES games were really difficult.

Nintendo power magazine. Or you could go out and purchase separate hint/guidebooks. I remember buying alot of hint books from gaming and comic stores.
Thank you. :) I didn’t even know those were around back then. Now I’m not that impressed with that boy for knowing about the whistles.

Back in 1990…If any of you were even born back then. (Tumblr makes me feel like a dinosaur.)
How did kids find out cheats to video games? We didn’t have GameFAQs or YouTube videos.
I was discussing this with a friend on Melo because I mentioned a boy from my kindergarten class coming over and playing Super Mario Bros. 3 one day. And he showed me all the locations of the whistles. It...

The Forbidden Game series
Have you ever played Nightmare?
This week, I read The Forbidden Game series. I’m a bit older than its intended audience, but I wanted to read it because L.J. Smith wrote it and I loved The Secret Circle books when I was in high school. The plot sounded interesting enough, so I figured, why not?
The three books are The Hunter, The Chase and The Kill. For the sake of not spoiling the...

Did they riff on this movie in MST3K? It looks familiar…I think the storyline was a scientist digging up a werewolf skeleton or something, and turning into it..
No! Haha. That was Werewolf, and that is the BEST MST3K episode ever. The closing credits were great.

I don’t have a clue. It’s been a while since I watched it, but I don’t remember it being dark…
It just looks overcast. And then every shade of red looks neon. Oh well. :(

Every time I’ve ever seen it, the en’tracte and overture were on it. WEIRD.
Do you know which version you watched? And did it ever look dark? I don’t know if I’m just imagining it or if it actually looks as bad as I think it does. I’m going to have to try it on the other TV.
I put in Disc 2 and thought, “Oh, okay. This is better.” It’s the Todd-AO version which…I’m pretty sure is the only version I’ve ever seen, because every time I have ever watched Oklahoma!, the Overture and En’tracte have been included.
But all the Amazon reviews go on about how horrible the Todd-AO version is compared to the Cinemascope version (Disc...
